3D Rapid Prototyping is a short 3D workshop exercise that I did together with my classmates in Lasalle College of Arts. We had been introduced to the knowledge of 3D prototyping process and some element of 3D like (Height maps, vertex point, convex and concave shapes, wireframe and etc. Those are the final outcome of the exercises that we've done during the workshop. Exercise 1: paper slices, Exercise 2:polyrocks and Exercise 3: Abstract landscape.
Exercise 1: Paper Slices. Using a 3D object slicing technique, computer based 3D object will be assembled to a physical model by paper cutouts. Exercise 2: Create a 3D polygonal object with at least 16 faces. Exercise 3: 'Abstract Landscapes' Prepare a software based 3D Model using a height map technique and prepare the model in .stl format for printing.
